Byron and Susan Franklin met in their hometown of Stockton, Ca. They have been married 30 years and have
two children, Matthew and Misty. When Byron and Susan started Seafood Express they rented a small space inside a local grocery
store and set up a retail fish market primarily making home deliveries to customers. Over time they grew the business and
focused on selling to local organizations their fresh Dungeness Crab for the Crab Feed fundraising dinners. Eventually
they were able to purchase a building on Miner Avenue to have their own working space to better serve their growing number
of customers. Noticing a desire from their Crab Feed customers for catering, Byron and Susan began offering their services.
Now, 15 years later this is still the biggest part of their business.
